Our mission: From rescue to mastery
At the You Did That Conference, we believe empowerment is a functional requirement, not just a feeling. We're here to redefine success for veterans and community leaders by shifting the narrative from dependency to total functional independence. Join us as we build a legacy of dignity and results.

Empowerment: A functional requirement
The absolute most important idea behind the "You Did That Conference" is the shift from Rescue to Mastery. We firmly believe that empowerment is a functional requirement, not merely a feeling. We reject the traditional charity model, which often focuses on pity or rescue. Instead, by providing a Strategic Blueprint through The Five Pillars, we transform individuals from "cases to be managed" into Masters of their own functional independence. The name "You Did That" itself serves as the ultimate audit, placing power and accountability back onto the individual and the community, proving that stability is earned through advocacy, mastery, and results.

Meet the high-stakes participant
We seek attendees who are ready to move beyond the "Procrastination Tax" and invest in functional mastery. Our target audience includes Transitioning Veterans and Individuals seeking to move from "crisis-driven dependency" to "Total Functional Independence," not looking for handouts, but for the strategic blueprint to reclaim their dignity and legacy. We also welcome Clinical & Strategic Advocates like Dr. Jai Johnson, NP, who understand that health underpins all stability, and Community Anchors—Atlanta’s business leaders, institutional stakeholders, and military advocates—who recognize that strengthening our most vulnerable citizens strengthens our entire community.

From dependency to mastery: Your transformation
Attendees will not simply walk away with a "good feeling"; they will gain a structural requirement for results. The most significant change is an internal "reality check." Participants will stop viewing themselves through the lens of disabilities or setbacks and instead embrace their roles as strategic specialists of their own lives. This conference empowers individuals to move from being "managed" to being "in command," providing a literal manual for navigating complex medical, financial, and residential systems and transforming their future.
“We require black tie attire because we believe that mastery begins with how you present yourself to your own future. We reject the 'pity-based' aesthetic of traditional charity. We dress in mastery.”
